Retrieve domain name info in a keystroke

WhoisCL is a simple command line tool which allows Windows to instantly access registration information for that site including the WHOIS ID. It's not the most sophisticated or attractive of programs but it does it's job reasonably quickly most of the time.

To use it, it's very simple. There's no need to install anything - simply double click on the EXE file and the Windows Command prompt will appear. You only have to type the domain name, hit enter and the program will instantly connect to the right WHOIS server. Within a few seconds, the name of the owner (where available, address, phone number, e-mail and other contact information are visible. However, depending on what privacy controls a domain has registered, the amount of data you can see may be limited. The return time may also be limited by how busy the server is also.

A simple tool which could have been improved with a non command-line interface but still does it's job well.
